About Us
In 1987, IT consultants Ashish Bansal and Winston Gonzalez teamed up to develop an individual income tax return system for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico . Working alongside Metadata and industry giant Booz, Allen & Hamilton, the young entrepreneurs recruited top technical professionals to round out their project team, and CTI was born. The energetic CTI group analyzed Commonwealth tax laws, and performed data conversion and detailed program design using IBM 3081/MVS, TSOL/ISPF, ROSCOE, LIBRARIAN, CICS, COBOL, FORTRAN, DBASE III+ and VSAM.
CTI’s programming expertise and unwavering commitment to deliver all products and services on time and on budget resulted in a first-rate tax return system, substantial praise from the Commonwealth, and instant recognition in the growing IT industry. In the 15 years since that first successful endeavor, CTI has applied the same quality standards and budget/deadline commitment to hundreds of projects for government and corporate clients throughout the world.
